FLBI was founded as a FAMILY LIFE BIBLE COLLEGE in 2013, by my husband, Dr. M. D. Forney and myself, and became FLBI in 2020. I am an Ordained Minister. My Bachelors work was completed at Texas Woman’s University, and Master's and Doctoral studies were done and completed through the Family Life Bible College. I have 15+ years of extensive experience in areas such as counseling, discipling and teaching Christians, marriage and family counseling, and personal development. My desire is to see people, in all walks of life, live in the victory that Jesus bought for us, through His death and resurrection.

I have been the Registrar and Tuition Specialist here at Family Lfe Bible Institute for 4 years. I am also a student at FLBI. The taching that I have received thus far has exceeded my expectations of what I haved learned as a child growing up in the church. This caliber of learning has been a true eye opener and a wonderful experience. I am excited about my elevation in the Word and the knowledge that I have received.

My career overview is to tell everyone the wonderful news of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, encouraging souls to believe in Him as the Lord and Savior of humanity, to guard and teach every soul entrusted to me by God with all the wisdom of the Gospel in order to present every one of these persons perfect and complete in Christ Jesus, to equip these persons to passionately pursue their sanctification Christ Jesus and to spread the Gospel in their surrounding communities and in the world abroad. My ministry objective is to lead the people of God to a greater knowledge of and deeper relationship with the Lord by feeding them the Word of God and shepherding their hearts, to better equip the saints to accomplish His work and purposes, and to share with the unsaved how to find real life and true freedom in Christ.

Dr. Ja’Rita Bolden has a BA in Theology, a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling, and a DTh in Theology from Family Life Bible Institute, Houston, Texas. She graduated with honors when she received her Master of Arts in Christian Counseling. Dr. Bolden is a minister at the Lifestyle of Christ Church in Houston, Texas. She is also the superintendent of the Sunday School ministry at Lifestyle of Christ Church. Dr. Bolden has always had a passion to mentor young women which inspired her to start Jays Jewels LLC, to encourage women that they are precious Jewels both inside and out. Dr. Bolden has always been a positive influence to young women who are drawn to her natural ability to counsel and inspire them. Dr. Bolden has used what she has learned at Family Life Bible Institute to teach others about Kingdom living. Dr. Bolden is passionate about teaching and her desire is for all of her students to excel and prosper in God's Word.

Since my conversion in 1997, early in my walk with the Lord, I had a call on my life to serve the Kingdom of God with my God given teaching abilities. I served Servant Of All Ministries as a Sunday School Superintendent for 6 years, First Haitian Church of God Houston for 5 years and Divine Connection Christian Center for 5 years as well. I have been the Director of International Affairs of a non-profit ministry, the Light of Life Global Initiative since November 2015. I have been working diligently to impact the lives of youth, families, couples and leaders with teaching for the betterment of the Kingdom of God. I am very passionate about teaching. As a professor, my objective is to instruct in a manner that enables my students to authentically sense my care and sincere desire for them to acquire knowledge and a profound understanding of the Word of God. I am dedicated to creating an environment where students not only receive information but also feel my genuine commitment to their personal and spiritual growth. My primary goal is for them to strengthen their faith and enrich their spiritual journey with Christ by gaining a thorough understanding of the Word of God.
